ABOUT THE MODULE
Organisations do not become people-centred simply by having HR policies. People practices create value when they are aligned with business needs, practical for managers and meaningful for employees.
This module explores how organisations can build people practices that support the entire employee journey — from attracting and onboarding talent to developing, engaging, recognising and retaining people.
It moves from HR processes that exist to people practices that create value.

THE EXPERIENCE
Participants examine real people-management situations, HR process journeys, case studies, diagnostics and practical exercises.
They look at people practices from three perspectives:
What does the organisation need?
What does the manager need?
What does the employee experience?
The experience encourages participants to move beyond asking:
“Do we have a process?”
and ask:
“Does the process actually work?”

REFLECTION
If we experienced our own organisation as an employee, which people practices would genuinely help us — and which would simply create work?
What is one people practice we could make simpler, more meaningful or more effective?
