ABOUT THE MODULE
Leadership is about creating ownership — in ourselves and in others.
Accountability creates responsibility. Influence enables leaders to move people towards shared outcomes. Empowerment creates the space for people to take ownership, make decisions and grow.
This module explores how leaders can balance authority, accountability, influence and empowerment to create teams that are capable, responsible and increasingly self-directed.
It moves from controlling outcomes to creating ownership for outcomes.

REFLECTION
Where am I holding on to control that someone else could responsibly own?
What would I need to do differently to create genuine ownership rather than dependence?
