Leadership Identity & Presence

Leadership is not merely a position, title or set of responsibilities. It is the way we show up, influence others and take responsibility for outcomes.

Leadership Identity & Presence

ABOUT THE MODULE

Leadership is not merely a position, title or set of responsibilities. It is the way we show up, influence others and take responsibility for outcomes.

Leadership identity is shaped by how we see ourselves as leaders, while leadership presence is experienced through how others experience us. This module invites participants to examine the leader they are becoming and the impact they create through their presence, behaviour and choices.

It moves from holding a leadership position to embodying leadership.

WHAT WE EXPLORE

  • Understanding leadership beyond title and hierarchy
  • Leadership identity and self-perception
  • What makes leadership credible
  • Leadership presence and executive presence
  • The relationship between confidence, humility and credibility
  • How behaviour shapes leadership reputation
  • Leading with consistency and integrity
  • Adapting leadership style without losing authenticity
  • The impact we create through our presence
  • Becoming intentional about the leader we want to be
  • Leadership as responsibility, not privilege

THE EXPERIENCE

Participants explore their leadership identity through self-reflection, leadership stories, feedback, real-life situations, individual exercises and facilitated conversations.

They examine the gap between how they see themselves as leaders and how others may experience them.

The experience asks:

“If leadership is experienced through me, what exactly are people experiencing?”
